Nice. Congrats.

I hope we see some ACC teams show up on our schedule soon. We'll definitely need an expansion at our stadium though before anyone will consider playing us at home.
there goes the talk of VT being the only 2 for 1 ever.

Yup. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they continue the practice because the money from those games will likely go up in the next few years.

Once plans for the stadium are released and a projected completion date is realized, we may very well see this deal extended (and hopefully more P5 home-home games as well).

If they want ACC teams coming in, they'd do well to aim for 35,000 on the new stadium's capacity. Otherwise, they may have trouble accommodating their ticket requests.

An excellent point. From what I've read, that's why we had to settle for the pay game. Need to satisfy the ACC level of ticket allowances or we're not going to bring in a lot of ACC opponents.
For perspective, UTSA and FIU have done very well for themselves scheduling wise.

FIU: Hosting Pittsburgh, Louisville, Indiana, and Maryland.

UTSA: Hosting Arizona, Arizona State, Kansas State, Baylor, and last year hosting Oklahoma State. Playing in the Alamodome (seats 65,000) definitely seems to provide them a scheduling advantage.

Hopefully, we'll start to hear more quality home games in the next few months.
