A RB by the name of Jamon Cofield walked on today. He played for Paul IV High School. I was hoping someone could shed some light on him. I watched his HUDL video and something just doesn't add up. He looks too talented to have to be a walk-on. Can find no recruiting profiles on him.

Did anyone see him play in high school? Anyone know of him?

I don't know what his story is, but his highlights video is pretty darn impressive. It could be the competition wasn't all that good (private league), but he is certainly a talent that stayed under the radar for some reason.

He looks very talented. I would think FCS schools would have offered him a scholarship. My guess is that he probably had trouble qualifying academically. He may have taken summer schools classes and finished them in time to still join Marshall.

Thanks guys. I hope he gets a shot here because he looks talented. Everyone I have asked can only tell me that his conference/area produces some good talent.
