I figure most of you guys already know this and will think I've been living under a rock for the last few months, but Comcast Sports South is no longer in business. I don't watch a lot of TV during the summer but was surfing around the other night and noticed that CSS was no longer included in the on-screen guide. SEC Network took all of the programming that would normally go to CSS, including the lower-tier SEC football and basketball games. I'll enjoy watching SEC football on their network, and am hoping that the Tigers football games that normally go to CSS and the basketball games not on ESPN or Fox will be picked up by CBSTV or elsewhere.

We didn't have any CSS games last year in basketball. We had one in football, the MTSU game. Thank God for that.
and that was only because of the away game and CUSA's deal with CSS.

AAC doesn't do CSS games, we're ESPN and CBS-SN going forward.

Nah, not taboo. Everyone on this board knows (or should) that I bleed Tiger blue but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy watching Florida vs. Georgia, Alabama vs. Auburn, LSU vs. UT (as long as the Vols lose), etc...etc...etc...

I had forgotten that we still had a leftover contract with CSS last year.
Does not the ESPN contract allow them to subcontract the lesser games out to other outlets?
Boom Outta Here!!

Yes, it does...but I think the only sublicensing that has occurred so far is with CBSN.

LOL.

Didn't say I rooted for any SEC teams, just that I enjoy watching their games.
