LOL

When is it brovol's turn?
I guess not, Noonan.

As someone posted above - relax, it's a message board. People say worse things about each other every day on Capitol Hill, and that's real (?) life.

Anyway I couldn't keep up with Low T and Casper in that area if I tried - and didn't have them on "Ignore."

He monopolized conversations to the extent that he drove informed Bronco posters off this board because they didn't agree with him. He aggressively attacks new posters calling them multi id trolls. Trying to turn the only WMU fan community on the internet into your personal soapbox because you don't like a coach is absolutely worthy of some action from the mods who run this site.

You can ignore most anything sure, but there have to be some guidelines in place otherwise this place is just inside baseball and you never get new people, honest exchanges or any reason to come here if you aren't that concerned with PJ Fleck's personal life. I prefer a community of Bronoco fans having a discussion than one guy having an argument with everyone and then a couple of his toadies cheering him on.

This is going to be a great week.

Great post, Liam.
Okay, now I'm in the place that's about him being banned (realized from the other thread topic)...

Seriously... as I said earlier, how do you think he gets so many posts in during the day... He baits certain individuals here for sport... and they fall for it EVERY TIME.

Yes and no. I know for myself, I'll make my points and just won't go down his Other Alley of shenanigans. He's backed off that from me a while back, from when he used to be Real Bad toward me.

However, if you have someone that many posters have to put on Ignore, something should be done. In DB's case, ban for life or a season? NO. Something though, to send a message as to what's-up. Along with pointing out examples to him as to why, as well as a good explanation (if I were role-playing as a Mod).

Quote:Fact: DB has NEVER liked PJ fleck
Fact: If you claim to like, support or otherwise NOT hate on PJ... then DB will make it his life mission to make you feel like you have some sort of homosexual relationship with PJ.
Fact: If you get into a back and forth banter with DB... he will ALWAYS WIN... because unlike most of us... he can sit there ALL DAMN DAY and out post you. Period.

Okay, you're not making a case to keep-DB-forever... 03-wink

Quote:Fact: It is a message board and nothing DB says or does... has any affect on the real world...

True. But by that same token, you shouldn't ban anyone for Any length of time, if they're an actual user to a sports forum, right? Doesn't affect the real world... (hopefully the players & coaches don't view this).

Quote:Banning DB will only make you look weak... I say DON'T ban him... and just DON'T knee jerk respond to anything he posts... as hard as that may seem at first it really is quite liberating...

In some sense, I agree. I agree with the general approach to an extent. I would say Warn, and show examples. Then NOT temporarily banning or holding off the ability to post for X amount of time -- that would show weakness. Not handing out a warning as a Mod would show weakness, in my book.

In my opinion: If he was already banned from posting temporarily for a while, and he still went "about his ways", going against such things -- then I would say do a Temp Ban for some days. Either Wed - Mon, covering the timeline of high posting about a game, or a whole week or whatever.

I don't think kicking him off is a good idea. I think pointing out wrongs IS a good idea to him. Making it vague or whatever wouldn't be -- as that wouldn't be helping to curb any problem.

Some Forums are different than others. Virtually none go strictly by their set of rules like a hardcore English teacher with a red pen. If one's a veteran poster, I would say explanation is in order to them -- not to be "kind" -- but for them to Realize, so they have a Full understanding in a clearly non-vague way on how not to be, etc.

I don't mind him being a jack-a$$ some or saying things that make eyes roll. It's when it goes beyond that and becomes part of one's "schtick" -- that's when the line's crossed, IMO.

You need to grow up. Its patently unnecessary to name call while making ZERO point. We get it you don't like a couple of people who post here but instead of talking about any issue you decide to call them names. Its maddening that you want to emulate behavior that is universally disliked here.
can this thread go into Horses***? It has no purpose in the football forum.

I second this motion.
Congratulations DesertBronco on 34,000!

Worthy accomplishment.
Thanks WW.
Funny how half of the posters on this thread either no longer post any longer since the alias warning, or are outright banned. 03-lmfao
DesertBronco where art thou?
Took his ball and went home.

Started another message board. Two thirds of the threads go nowhere except trash this message board. It's great stuff. 03-cloud9

Not as impressive as your apparent obsession with him, however.

Thanks.

Of all my posts I was not expecting arrow to respond to this one.

As a general note to the boards, DB did try to pick a fight with me in the past. I knew it was DB just being DB.

As for the stats, the numbers speak for themselves.
Whoever banned him (again), thank you.

I already started a celebration thread, entitled, PTL
Starting a petition to un-ban DesertBronco.
