Maybe he can stop making stupid posts on Twitter too. Bout the same likelihood in my book.

Also, that deal is front loaded, so depending on where the Falcons are in a couple of years, he may or may not wind up somewhere else.

and you make my point
So,anyway, I thought it was an interesting event for the most high-profile former Blazer in the NFL, and said franchise's best receiver ever.
Yes, it's quite a feather in UAB's cap any way you slice it.

Yep, I'm sure if we can stop him from making stupid posts on twitter, then twitter will be free of stupid posts.

Who cares what he puts on twitter?
Probably a good thing to go ahead & sign the deal.

The Falcons are going to suck balls the next few years.
Let me put it this way.

If UAB Football started winning, Roddy would probably be more active with UAB.
I agree with that statement. Not sure to what level but yea I agree.

If Roddy didn't act like he was ashamed to say he's from UAB, instead of The University of Alabama birmingham, I'd give a jig. So for now, I'll keep rooting for the Falcons like I did before he got there and after he leaves.
As a fan base we seem more interested in slights (real or imagined) than the teams we are supposed to support

Yeah, that's exactly what I wrote.. You see it up there? If roddy stops making stupid tweets, twitter will no longer have them. Piss off.

And I care what he tweets because he went to school at UAB and he sounds like an uneducated ass.

They are real. What has Roddy done for UAB since he left? He reps his freaking high school on national broadcasts, and we aren't supposed to think that's a slight towards UAB?

You're pathetic. Players do that every game. It's not a slight
Pathetic? That's where you go with that?

I'll ask again, what has Roddy done for UAB lately? And I would say 90-95% of guys rep their college on those broadcasts.
People don't get their info about a player from what he says pregame. If they want to know where he went to school, they look it up. UAB is not being slighted because Roddy doesn't say UAB.

And I have never been offended by something Roddy has said on twitter. But I guess I am not as sensitive as blazer 9911. It didn't even bother me that he told me to piss off. I think it is more of his sensitive side that he cares about the urinary tracts of his fellow Blazer fans.

Just become the greatest receiver in franchise history, is all.
