Rubeyes was built by a University of South Carolina student, Joshua Norris, and his father, Paul Norris. Basically tracks a group of people so you can say hello to them if they are nearby. Kudos to them.
On the one hand sound great to have a large group of friends to keep track of and alert you so you can say hello. Can see a lot of other applications; parents keeping tabs of kids, employers/employees, prisoners on short ropes, sex offenders, schools keeping truancy down.
But doesn't this also sound like such an invasion of so many lives. Guess if you are OK with it no problem. Just almost kind of creepy. Guess I like my privacy more than some.
