Gasol/Koufos

Zach/Stokes/Leuer

Carter/Pondexter/Prince

Lee/Allen/Adams/Franklin

Conley/Udrih/Calathes
No problem with that. That's a 50-win team.
Unless Mike takes a leap as a scorer, that lack of offensive firepower will limit what we can do.

Forget 50 win seasons...

We need to be trying to win titles.

In the west if you don't win 50 you don't have a chance to win a title.

If you are looking to win titles, you may want to watch another team for a bit. The Griz will not win a title within the next three years regardless of their roster moves. LBJ or Durant are not walking in the door and the Grindfellows have reached their peak performance level.
Of all of the major sports leagues, the NBA is the most difficult to win a title. Only 9 teams have won it in the past 35 years! Because once a team gets a certain player or two then they will dominate the league for a period of time until the next superstar emerges and starts dominating
Based on +/- from last season, VC is the second highest rated Grizz.

He ranked 19.

It is almost futile effort for all but a handful of teams.

It is. That's why I try to enjoy the journey.

Yep, I really would like to see the Grizz win it all and it can happen but it would take some strange circumstances based on other teams being knocked off in the Eastern or Western playoffs or some kind of injuries for that to really be realistic. So if the Grizz were to make it to the Finals and win a game or two, I would consider that a success and enjoy it

It certainly will not occur unless they try and I think they are trying. It is a tough road, but - like K2 states - it can be fun along the way.

It's obvious that Hollinger has a lot of input.
solid lineup. getting QPon back is almost like another FA signing.

Is that really no firepower? That's 70ppg from the starters. I don't know what other teams starters average but that doesn't seem that anemic to me.

Not a single guaranteed 20 a game scorer.

As Zach is getting older, he cannot be relied on for the offensive muscle. If Mike isn't aggressive, our offensive motor is lacking.

Not a single guaranteed 20 a game scorer on San Antonio either. Highest scorer last year was Parker at around 17 per game.
If Beno, Carter, Calathes, Q, Leuer, Lee, Adams and Conley make open shots the offense will be fine
