Virtually no chance of happening.

I thought I read an article a month or two ago about Saban complaining how difficult it is to schedule OOC games.

Well Saban, your prayers have been answered, Turbeville is calling you out... Will you man-up or will you rather schedule OOC cupcakes as usual!?! lol

I doubt the home and home ever takes place with Bama, IMO.

Why jump on Saban? Has OSU done the same, and they are in there backyard.

UC may get a date in Tuscaloosa. And they should jump on it.

This is the new "normal." You don't have to like it, but you do have to deal with it.

Heres the long and short of this...it won't happen. Not because Bama thinks they are too high and mighty to play @UC...but because IF they agreed to the home and home Tubbs wants, it means Bama is our expanded/upgraded Nippert opener and that will mean Bama only has six home games next year....they don't do six home games.

I'd rather stay relevant and make money by playing a 'Bama or Michigan in a "one-and-done" in their place but hey... You want a home date with Eastern Michigan or Troy... OK.

look how about we hope for a middle ground...we may not get one and one with Michigan or Bama, but that doesn't mean we have to settle for E Michigan or Troy either. We recently did one and one with NC State, Fresno, Oregon State, etc. These are the programs we need to target.

apparently you didnt read the comments. you understimate the high and mightyness of bama fans. trust me. i know of what i speak. wont happen, but if it does i will be pulling for you 100 percent.

Dude you don't start off negotiations that way. We also got a home and home with Oklahoma not too long ago.

South Florida, Central Florida and ECU all can get home games with schools like Auburn, Texas, South Carolina, Notre Dame, etc but UC can't get one with any better than Miami (FL)???? I really don't understand why we can't get better games...


There are schools like Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Tennessee all near by but NONE will play us at home??? It is hard to believe.

We upset them at Nippert and that kept them from playing in the national championship game. The next season the game went into overtime up at Camp Randall.

We did a home and home with VaTech, the return game was moved to DC for $$$. We won. Do you need a college football scheduling guru advisor?
