Calling Obama out on his war against America and Christians.

Quote: It’s big, tall and yellow and if you travel along Southport Road in Spartanburg County you’ll probably see it.

“It’s an eyecatcher,” Leo Kingsley said. “It’s just hey – there it is.”

Kingsley drives Southport Road often and said he’s noticed the sign before.

“It’s just Obama vs. the cross,” he said.

The billboard has President Barack Obama’s campaign symbol on it and a cross.

“I am a strong Christian and a believer in Christ,” another driver, Walter Grady said.

The words on the billboard state “Time for a new revolution?”

“Everybody is entitled to their beliefs,” Grady said.

There’s also a website posted on the billboard. It is lc.org in red letters. The website takes you to information about the Liberty Counsel organization.

“He (Obama) has had a war on American and GeoChristian values,” said Mathew Staver, founder and chairman of the group. He said the billboard shows the truth.

“We’re urging people to engage in a revolution of ideas to get involved in the political process,” Staver said.

He said the organization supports policies that protect liberty and Christian values, like prayer in schools and an anti-abortion message. He said those are views President Obama doesn’t support.

“We have a revolution and it’s called the voting booth,” Michael Bailey said.

Bailey is the vice president with the group Upstate Atheist.

“I just think it’s kind of almost sad in a way- that to feel like there’s a point of a revolution in this country,” Bailey said.

And even though he said he’s not getting involved with the political message on the board, he said he doesn’t agree with the organization’s message when it comes to prayer in schools.

“I just think it’s very unconstitutional,” Bailey said.

He said he has concerns about the organization’s message, especially prayer in schools.

However, some drivers say it’s just another billboard.

Obama has a war with all Americans who disagree with him, not just Christians.
No idea why this is just a story now. That is been up for .... probably a year or more? I drive by it all the time. I dislike the organization behind it though for co-opting the word Liberty while having an agenda that includes expressly using government coercion to force their viewpoint on everyone in public schools.
Yes. The war.

Actually, this is getting kinda old. I'm now trying to figure out the next BS that y'all will promote when Hilldawg is prez.

You are familiar with the term "war on women", correct? What're your thoughts on that "war"?

Talk about BS.

Well, if she were as good a prez as she was an ambulance chaser, senator and secretary of state, I'm sure there will be plenty of fodder to kick around.
You guys sound like you've already accepted the inevitable. That's good. But don't worry, I hear from a reliable source Hillary likes NASCAR.

I've acknowledged I think she might win.

My question to her fans (one I haven't gotten a satisfactory answer to) is, what then?

What in her sleazy lawyering, invisibile senate, incompetent secretary of state career makes you think she'll be a good president?

we will be lamenting the unfortunate victims of the serial sex offender that is our "first husband", and debating the possibility of outlawing Viagra until after they are safely removed from the White House.

Premature, imo. she's not holding up to even the slightest scrutiny very well. SoS is an apolitical job, and her relatively high poll numbers reflected that.

the Clinton magic left with Billdo. she can't even manage a book tour without putting her sensible heel in her mouth over all their personal debt.

I am quite unintimidated by Hillary the presidential candidate.

I'm gonna make a confession here, but please keep it a secret. I don't want the radicals to know this, but I'm not all that convinced she will make a good prez. But as of right now, I don't see anyone on the right I could vote for. The bottom line, whether you like the dems message or not, it still resonates with the majority of the voting public. Righties gotta find someone who can rise above the socially conservative platform and win the middle. So far, no luck. The radical right is killing the repub party. Honestly, as of this minute, she looks like the lesser of alot of right wing evils.

But you're going to bang the drum for her, anyway.

hmmm. the google index rate/crawl rate is pretty instant on this site. not the place to keep a secret.
Keep reaching paranoid mafia, you'll get there eventually...04-cheers
Hillary's job is the same as last time. She takes all the scrutiny and the heat while the real candidate moves to the general election with no negative reporting.

So, tell me. What in Hillary's background makes you think she'd be a good president.

Not as an alternative to some other candidate.
someone needs to feed Elizabeth Warren's ego enough steroids to get her into the race. That would be great fun.

All presidential elections in recent memory have been about picking the lsser of 2 evils. If she looks like that, I'll beat the drum. If you guys can give me a better alternative, I'll give 'em a look see. But I'll tell you up front. Any righty that appears to be carrying the water for the religious right won't get my vote.
I'll take that as a tacit acknowledgement that she's evil.

All politicians are evil. Please don't start putting words in my mouth. If I haven't said it, don't assume it.
