The worst thing from a NC perspective is that the original whistle blower was fired. She is suing in civil court. The NCAA can let her subpoenaed discovery dig up a lot of dirt for them.

That's an ACC blog. It even says explicitly at the end of the article that it would be a big day for NC State Wolfpack fans.

It will be interesting to see how differently things go for the UNC "whistleblower" compared to the one at UTK a few years ago. She was left to "twist in the wind" by everyone, including the NCAA.
At this point she is involved in a civil suit against UNC, and any depositions will be a matter of record. That might get very interesting, particularly if the head of the AfAm Studies Department has been deposed.
