If stadium fund raising is in the silent phase, then those who would be donating or pledging don't need or pay much attention to PR announcements anyway. If Phil Fulmer is out there lining up some significant money, then that would be the needed bottom line boost to bring the larger community, alumni, friends, et al fully on board to finish the job. I saw Fulmer on a TV commercial several evenings ago with some other retired SEC coaches on the golf course. I trust he is out there earning his ETSU paycheck. By the way, what happened to the bonds method of helping finance this project?
The Johnson City Press article mentioned the late Ken Simonds the other day in the Foundation donation story. I wonder if he left anything in a trust should ETSU bring back football, and if he did, how much?
