Have you received bball survey from UC via email?
Yes I did. I didn't give the amenities at 5/3 that good of a score.

Same here.
I basically gave bad marks for navigating around the arena , food selection and seat comfort. Overall atmosphere, prices, parking and getting to the arena is fine
I just want them to fix up the Shoe and keep it on campus........
Besides that,,,,, I'm pretty happy........
The biggest problem I have with the experience has been UC's attempt to make college basketball look like the pro game. I would dump the pyrotechnics when the team comes on the court. It is an accident waiting to happen without much added benefit to the overall experience. The DJ in the student section isn't needed because we have a pep band. When I go to the games I want to hear the band play the fight song.

The only thing I would do with the current setup is convert 110, 111, and 112 into student seating or general admission seating for fans that want to jump up and down and get a little crazy. Overall I gave UC basketball high marks but I would like to see the focus on creating an atmosphere that is both family friendly and old school collegiate. I associate pop and hip hop music, pyrotechnics, and scoreboard antics with professional sports. While they still have their place in the arena to a certain extent the emphasis should be about creating an unique collegiate style experience.
The students love the DJ. I don't see that going away anytime soon.
I hammered on concessions, will call, and concourse crowds. Once I'm in my seat I find the experience acceptable. Glad to see UC appears to be paying more attention to hoops, should have happened years ago.
Filled out the survey. Don't have problems with much at 5th/3rd.
I do think some of what they run on the scoreboard is stupid and sometimes inaudible.

The engineer of the month segment on the scoreboard is just dumb and most of the time you can't hear them talk anyway but CEAS pays for that exposure so I guess at least Athletics benefits. Robotics night was stupid too. Guessing CEAS paid for that too.

Some of the stuff they do on the court during timeouts is lame but again I know they are filling breaks. They could just not do anything and that would be just fine with me. I don't need something going on down on the court during every stop in play.

But I love the zooperstars, jumprope team, etc.
My daughter's main academic goal at UC is to someday be the Engineer of the Month.

I wanted the survey to ask if I wanted UC to still schedule Xavier home and home, or give a chance to suggest we play Dayton, or ask if we preferred campus to downtown, or other big issues like that.

Biggest problem areas for sure.
I answered "When we get a new coach, call me" Until then I am FB only.
I didn't fill mine out. If they don't know what's wrong by now I have little hope. Seems like they are just trying to make it seem like they're doing something.

You really don't want to hear his answer.

if uc had a 'new coach', we'd see a revolving door and the bb program would lose all stability. Get over Huggins being gone. WVU hasn't been that happy with him the past couple of years. Start following WVU if you can't get over him.

no doubt....good knight can't believe there are remnants of the Huggins Brigade at this point. It was almost TEN years ago folks...time to move on. Besides, I wouldn't want Huggs today...time for that ol boy to retire.
Ditto. Besides beer, the food selection and quality suck. As long as there are bench seats I give low low marks to seat comfort.

You need to get over your Huggins crush. Mick has done a great job.
