Hope it reverts back to the Tangerine/Citrus Bowl, or any other non-corporate name.

The Citrus Bowl is the current Capital One Bowl. The Orange Bowl has always been the Orange Bowl with different sponsors.
Really? I had no idea.

I skipped a few dots but figured your UNC education would allow you to connect them anyways. I was mistaken.

You should have stopped at "I had no idea". That part is completely true.

You're just jealous....admit it.

Me too, but I'd be shocked if it does.
If the Peach can do it, maybe the Citrus/Tangerine can, too. Although, the Gator just lost Gator from its name.

Do us a favor and show us how your superior education connects the dots from the Orange Bowl to the Citrus Bowl.

I would also like to know how he expected us to read his mind.
Perhaps if some of you would read the linked article you would understand where Marge is coming from.

Quote:Citing sources, the publication indicates Discover has pulled out of its four-year sponsorship of the Orange Bowl, and is set to be replaced by credit-card competitor Capital One. Capital One would, in turn, end its sponsorship of the Capital One Bowl, leaving the game formerly known as the Citrus to find a new title sponsor.

I read the article. I also read the headline of the thread and the OP. I don't have a problem with Marge getting a little off on a tangent and misspeaking. I do have a problem with somebody insulting the intelligence of another poster when the failure to communicate was their own fault.

Exactly, he said "it" which would imply he was talking about the Orange Bowl...since that was the topic at hand.
