I figure that I will not be able to score tickets through our ticket office for the Ohio State game due to demand. I notice that tickets on stub hub are already going for 150 dollars a pop for upper level end zone seats. What is the best way to get tickets for this game?
sell your first born
Worst case scenario you will easily be able to pick up tickets from some scalpers prior to the game. They might not be the best seats in the world, but there will be plenty to be had. It is going to cost you $80-100.

Don't go. I've been to at least a dozen different stadiums around the country for away UC games and by far the worst experience I have had (twice) was in Columbus. I won't be going back. Ohio State fans are THEE worst! Rude, mean, obnoxious. I've been to Morgantown for a game and those fans are downright enjoyable compared to OSU fans so that right there should tell you alot.
Find a friend who is a season ticket holder and see if you can buy tickets off him.

I totally agree on to$u and WVU. My wife refuses to return to Cowbus. So I will be selling my 4.

Yeah, that could be a brutal experience. I went to the UC @ North Carolina State game a few years back and experienced some heckling from NC State students (UC lost 30-19) but I was sitting in the visitor's section with other UC fans which helped. You just have to know going in that you will be in THE Ohio State University's house and don't expect to be treated as a guest. Now, in the chance that the Cats......wait.......wait for it.........pull off an upset victory, then that would be something to be there. In that case you better wear a flak jacket walking out. Just kidding!
My company is going to buy extra tickets for me to go (they are season ticket holders at OSU). I've been told by guys who have been going to OSU games for 20 years that I should scalp them up there because it will be cheaper and better seats.

I had no problems from NC fans except one drunk loud mouth was annoying.

I completely and totally expect some heckling. But getting stuff thrown at you the entire game along with physical and verbal harassment is just unexceptable. And this continued outside the stadium as well. Ohio State fans are the definition of classless. I'd be downright embarassed if I saw visiting fans at a UC game getting treated like we did. This wasn't an isolated incident with one bad OSU fan. At tailgates and at games I always go out of my way to make visiting fans feel welcome.
I've been been to several games at Ohio State and have tailgated on Lane Avenue many, many times. The behavior is quite bad. This game is scheduled to start at 6pm which is much worse than if it would have been a 12pm kickoff. This means there will be more drunken idiots than what you see at a noon affiar.

I would recommend to anyone who go to keep you head down low and be the bigger person by not responding to the douche-baggery you will encounter. You will hear all kinds of insults about UC's athletic history, they will say MAC schools are better than UC, they will mock UC's academics and call us a junior college, they will tell us we play in C-USA 2.0, they will comment that the City of Cincinnati is an Ohio State town, they will even say the City of CIncinnati is actually in Kentucky, they will state that we should not even be on the same field as the Buckeyes, etc. etc.

Like I said, let's just keep it classy and be the bigger, better person.

Agree nacho. God forbid if you walked into an-off campus bar after the game.
There's no reason to behave like that. The Illinois fans were terrific. Very welcoming people. I've sat next to visiting fans many times (the guy next to me sells his seats a lot) and I like chatting with them about their teams. We're adults for God's sake.

IL fans were classy. Folks at Marshall were classy. Even UL and PU fans are nice when compared to to$u thugs.

Never really have had issues except at Cowbus.

GASP! THE REVELATION JUST HIT ME! How could I have been so blind! I'm afraid I might forget again, please remind of this at any given opportunity.
I just got off the phone with the ticket office regarding the OSU tickets. For those of you lucky enough to get them through the ticket office, today is the last day to pay for them if you already havent done so. For those of you unlucky enough to get the tickets and are going to buy them online from a different resource, the UC sections are 6B-12B, 6C, and 8C.

I bought two tickets from the UC allotmant. I can't wait!. I'm not scared. Anyone else going?
If UC wins i wonder how much of an @$$ kicking i could take before i decide that the game wasnt worth attending....i think id rather be in Clifton for the celebration in that case.
