I'm starting to feel old, RIP Alice.
I remember her from the Bob Cummings show too. Quite the comedienne. RIP.
Bob Cummings' show is how I remember her, too. She was one of the "good characters" of my youth.

TV then was funny, clean, and informative.

Oh, heck, yeah. I LOVED that show. I have no idea why it grabbed me so; I was about 9 or 10?
the best Alice episode on the Brady Bunch series imo was when her "twin" sister came in and ran things....she made them do everything from laundry to calisthenics....the kids didn't like it

Two questions to ponder...

1. How does an architect (Mike Brady) afford a house to feed six kids, themselves and have a live-in maid? And take a vaca to Hawaii to boot?
2. Why did Mike insist on Alice wearing a ******* uniform every day? Why couldn't she wear regular clothes?
