just heard on 92.9 that to close the workout, Joe Jackson hit 16 of 25 from NBA 3 pt range - a full report coming up in a few minutes

way to go, Joe
Yup nice job joe!
The grizz do have their own dleague team now
I'm assuming 1 tiger gets drafted out of Jackson, Johnson, and Crawford. If not, Pera - sign 'em up and send them to our d-league affiliate! 03-wink

04-cheers to Joe
CA has a report on the workout. Does anyone know off hand what his combine measurables are? From day 1, Pastner's goal for JJ should have been to make him a NBA PG. Handles, BBIQ, D, and passing should have been all he ever practiced and drilled on. He was as good of a scorer as he would ever be when he got to the U of M. No way he was going to get NBA looks just being a scorer with his height and build. If he could D up and run some point, he'd have an outside shot at the league. But as it is...., I wish him the best.

I will eat my hat if any of them get drafted. Hope I am wrong.

I do like the D league idea although they may all opt to go make some real money overseas.
From the interviews that I've heard Dixon is the only one entertaining a euroleague idea. I haven't heard an interview from Chris though.

Gladly. I have a closet full.
Eric Hassletin said that Joe shot the ball very well, was fundamentally sound and that surprised the scouts

I always kinda thought that was what JP wanted to do with JJ. Joe had other ideas.

Am I the only one that sees that as a shot at Pastner?

No.....let me clarify that I meant that they were surprise of his shooting - how fundamentally sound and smooth he was shooting the ball like his form.....etc. It wasn't a shot at Pastner

If you are a negative nellie - of course you would.

Oh that makes more sense but Did Joe change his form since the last game he played? None of the scouts have ever seen him shoot before?

Wilbekin, who has been working out with Jackson in Florida
, described him as “tough” and “quick” and said one thing about Jackson surprised him: “He’s really funny; I didn’t know that about him.”
16 of 25 in a drill situation is not all that good for an undersized NBA guard prospect.
