It's just for one season...it has nothing to do with the length of the program you're in.
Very interesting. Pretty cool for him. BC not exactly a powerhouse, but ACC is cool. I'll be watching.

Hearing he has to actually graduate this summer, before he can head up there. Is in class right now apparently.

That's just the commencement ceremony. I was in the same ceremony with him. You can walk, but not have finished all of your classes. I believe it's based on how many credits you have. So he's finishing his classes this summer so he can get his degree. I'm doing the same thing.

I'll tell you what, I didn't exactly assert myself in that physics class.
To play immediately as a graduate student he had some work to do this summer. Sounds like the story came out early.

I would think he would get an opportunity to play quite a bit. BC has a new coach. A number of players have left the program and they have a chance to play a D-1 player who has experience. Hopefully Batten can make a good impression early and earn some minutes.
