Time for a new thread for News on this years NFL players:

Stephen Williams continues his tour around the league and is signed by the Dolphins: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami...2565.story The article includes a link to his UT highlights video as a nice touch.

Also, can't find an article to link, but the Jags released Danny Noble a while back.
Short interview with Hawk: http://www.sportsmedia101.com/clevelandb...next-step/

Although the Browns signed Austin and Bennett, with Gordon likely gone for the season, Hawk should get a lot of opportunities.

The gold pants? You didn't like them? I thought they looked really nice with a midnight blue helmet. Wouldn't mind incorporating them back into our uniform schemes.
So we had about 12 active NFL players last season, I believe. With 5 UDFA this year having a chance to make a team, I'd like to think our total number can go up.

Well that's great news. Would love for him to stay healthy and finally realize the full potential he has in the league. Seems like every time he starts turning heads an injury cuts his season short.

No, the flame pants were the white ones worn at Ball St. They had little flames, all down the side, awful!!! I like the Gold pants, always have, grew up on those, both home and away.
Washington signed Ross Madison: http://espn.go.com/blog/nfceast/post/_/i...jose-gumbs

I thought TO had a FA offer from NE.
Owens' profession baseball rights are also owned by the san diego padres. he has a minor league baseball option on the table, presumeably.

Good for him. Really hope he makes the final roster come game day.

Great press for Hawk: http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/news/arti...8ac6167d9a and
http://dawgpounddaily.com/2014/06/02/bro...ing-radar/

and check out the youtube link in the 2nd article ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wF7ZlsZJVsI ) from Bengal OTA (presumably last year) and watch Hawk toast db after db during 1-on-1 drills, often ending up the the db down on the turf.
Didn't Hawk end up at Toledo because Gradkowski and another player had visited a camp on the east coast, and they phoned back to the coaches and told them they had to look at Hawk because nobody could cover him?
Baby Hawk is getting a lot of love lately. My news feeds on both twitter and Facebook these past couple of days have been swarmed with articles on Andrew Hawkins. I love it! They're really hoping for big things from him this season in Cleveland. Hope he can stay healthy.
Positive press for Hawkins just keeps rolling in: http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ss...ilber.html
