Vikes & Falcons sign Kerin & Reedy respectively to futures contracts, so they will both be in camp next year.

Article on Kern being a free agent. http://www.tennessean.com/story/titansin.../21053119/
Had a good season, so he may get some interest from other teams, although the Titans say they want him back.
Barry Church being quotable.

Get payback (legally)
Summary of 2014 stats for Rockets in the NFL/CFL. I think this is everybody:

NFL:
Barry Church 16 gm / 16 starts / 97 tackles / 6 pass def / 2 int / 1 ff
John Greco 16 gm / 16 starts
Brett Kern 16 gm / 88 punts / 46.8 avg / 40.8 net / 28 inside 20 / 2 kickoffs
Andrew Hawkins 15 gm / 15 starts / 63 rec for 824 yds / 2 td / 3 rush for 15 yds / 4 tackles
Lance Moore 14 gm / 2 starts / 14 rec for 198 yds / 2 td
Jayrone Elliott 13 gm / 13 tackles
TJ Fatinikun 10 gm / 9 tackles / 0.5 sack
Bruce Gradkowski 1 gm / 2 rush for -2 yds
Jalen Parmele 1 gm / 1 rush for 0 yds

Zac Kerin 16 gm on practice squad
Bernard Reedy 16 gm on practice squad
Eric Page 1 gm on practice squad

CFL:
Nick Moore 44 rec for 553 yds / 1 kr for 2 yds / 3 fumbles / 2 tackles
Kenny Stafford 20 rec for 230 yds / 1 td / 4 rush for 26 yds / 1 fumble
Interesting stats for Nick M. A kick return for 2 yards? Onsides kick or squib or a really disasterous deep return?

Two tackles? On special teams or opposition INTs? Looks like a pretty good year though.
jayrone elliot a packer in the nfc championship game this sunday. will be active, play on kick coverage and some return teams. prob won't play from scrimmage as he is behind clay mathews who basically never comes out unless he breaks something.

If Mathews breaks something it's usually a player on the other team. According to a post on the MAC board, players from 9 MAC teams are on NFL teams still in the hunt. Only Miami, NIU, UMass and Akron are shut out.
Jayrone Elliott has been credited with 1 tackle so far in today's NFC Championship game. Seahawks making things real interesting here late in the game with less than 2 minutes to go.
Jayrone needs a hug after that game

As reported on several twitter feeds, it looks like TO is playing football again. OK, so it's not the NFL, or even the CFL, but... http://bemidjiaxemen.com/team/roster/

Interesting. I guess that baseball thing didn't work out for him.

He's got one of the most impressive college pedigrees on the team. Never heard of most of those schools. Is this some citrate arena league?
It very clearly states on the bottom left of the roster page:

ABOUT THE AXEMEN
The Axemen are a second-year professional indoor football franchise that plays at the Sanford Center in Bemidji, MN. The Axemen are a proud member of the Indoor Football League, a 10-team league with teams from Green Bay, WI to Kennewick, WA. The IFL is a developmental league designed to get players to the National Football League or Canadian Football League.
It's great to see a bit of the country after college and get to do what you really like doing. Congrats to Owens and wishing the best. I have great memories of that slingshot of his. He brought a lot of excitement.

Oh yeah. Guess I was too busy checking out the dance squad. ;-)
Just stumbled upon Andrew Hawkins rivals.com high school recruiting page...he's rated as a 1-star. Now he's a starting WR in the NFL.

Once Rocket, Travaris Cadet, is now in the NFL. I came across a very interesting article on his journey through college. Seems like Toledo really screwed him, but he ended up at Appalachian St. and now is in the NFL. I'm sure he has strong ill feelings towards our University, hopefully he doesn't speak down about us to potential recruits in the Florida area where he hails from.

Diamond in the Rough: Travaris Cadet
What's with "the committee" and the waiting game? I don't get that part.

Not sure Toledo really screwed him. Sounds to me like he decided he was going to do what he wanted to do which included screwing Toledo by bailing and not paying the bills he accrued. We did have a football team during the years Cadet was here, so why were things so hard for him that he had to leave while others were able to stay?

And the last paragraph is one sided BS. The author does not know a thing about UT's side of the story.

I'm glad he was dedicated enough to achieve his long-term goal anyway. Whatever...
