... I have to say that I don't know when the last time I have looked forward to watching a Thursday night game as much as the upcoming WVU at U of L game.
But here's one negative (and you may have already discussed?) -- tis also a shame it is on Thursday night because it would have been a neat atmosphere for ESPN's GameDay. And surely it would have been there too.
I don't understand why ESPN doesn't do a GameDay Special from Louisville this Thursday.

I wish it was on Saturday and the Saturday Night ABC game and the only ABC Game that week with Gameday.
It would be a mad house in Louisville because that same day you would have the Breeders Cup just down the street from Papa John's Cardinal Stadium-(Churchill Downs is roughly 1/2 Mile away from the Football Stadium).
Plus I could go to the game, had to sell my ticket because I could not get off from work.
They did the same thing last year putting projected #1 Louisville against projected #2 Pitt on a Thursday night.
I like being the only game on but this year's game would be prime time Saturday night, why put it on a Thursday?

It would make sense, wouldn't it. Maybe something on location on Wednesday night? Surely Herbstreit & Fowler are already there by then. ESPN2 has Fresno State at Boise State that night. Maybe have stuff there at Halftime and on a few breaks.
