My wife either left her wallet or it was stolen saturday while getting food at BW3 on Stadium. We didn't notice until sunday afternoon. Cancelled everything but the credit cards were used several times around Kazoo and tried in Ft. Wayne. We are still finding out charges as we get more and more posted. Seems like they stayed the night in Kazoo and then went to Ft. Wayne. They ate McD's twice, Wendy's, Putt Putt golf, gas a couple times, Walmart twice and Auto Zone and that is all just one of the cards.

Fun times... Cops said they are on their way to BW to see the video. This has been such a fun day and the night is only getting better as we find out more and more. Credit card companies will not automatically put all of the charges on a fraud report. WE have to call them and put them on the fraud report as they come up. WE are being charged interest on all of these purchases...
Sounds like teenagers eh?

or dumb-asses. Walmart? Auto Zone? Maybe just fat people...
Sorry Kimbo, that sucks.

Hope it's resolved pronto.
I wouldn't worry about the credit cards. Zero liability, plus that's the bank's money that's on the line. I'd be worried more about the debit card. You should be fine, but the angst is always terrible. Good luck.

debt card didn't have any charges on it when it was cancelled. We have protection on those up to a grand a day. Can you even use the debit card without the pin?

Couple of the charges on the credit cards were declined since my wife has not used it in years. Once there were several charges in one day the got curious.
You can use a debit card to purchase without the pin as long as you run it through as a credit. We do this all the time. I do not like keying in my pin on a store keypad (think Target).

Bummer for you and the Mrs., Kimbo. The worst is the hassle you have to deal with to straighten it out, and have new cards issued.
Keep us informed. I've always worried what would happen if the cards were stolen. I know my homeowners at Farm Bureau covers identity fraud, and we pay a couple bucks a month at ECCU to pay for credit card and account monitoring. Still, seems like a big big hassle.
