Unfortunately, for Ken Bishop and any of his fans who were watching the draft, his pick came immediately after Michael Sam got picked, so he just became a side note while the sports media started releasing their barrage of commentary that they had been holding back for two days about the the first openly gay player getting drafted. The Ken Bishop pick became more irrelevant than Mr. Irrelevant. Who wants to watch highlights of Ken Bishop? Wouldn't you much rather watch Michael Sam kissing his boyfriend again?

After that contrived move, I bet the Rams PR guy had a stiff drink.
