This is the problem with Butch Jones. Yeah he is killing the recruiting trail but man does he ever over-recruit at UT. He is just pissing off players every recruiting year.

I don't like how he does it thought. I can understand Sabans method but Butch is throwing **** at the wall to see what sticks. Pig Howard and Hill for example.

Apparently he was told numerous times to be more physical at DT or he would be moved to OT. According to the thread the coaches put him in a 1 on 1 drill against the kicker to call him out on not playing tough enough. It didn't improve. He got moved to OT and is now transferring.

Every program has kids transfer for any number of reasons. I haven't seen anything strange about the way Butch is doing things. Alden Hill wasn't going to see the field this year. I don't know what your issue with Pig Howard is.

He played in three games for Tennessee last year. So he'll be eligible for a redshirt this fall and then an RS Sophomore wherever he does for 2015.

He did not consider us when he signed ... but hopefully he will now. Gray Avenger said that we're finally at full 85 scholarships this fall, but I would think that we'd find room for a recruit like this.

I also wonder if he might go JUCO (NW MS?) for a year so that he could possibly go through the whole recruiting attention stuff again?

Guy didn't want to work hard...doubt he'd mesh well with Fuente.
