PantherTalk.com just published an article about potential NFL draftees in the Sun Belt. Thought y'all would think it's interesting.

Good list, but what about DeMarcus Ware? Was he before that 10 year mark?
I think Dowling will be WKU's highest draft pick....Not sure anyone else from WKU gets drafted..

Alex Carrington is from Arkansas State, not Troy.
Fixed those issues. Sorry bout that, fellas.
Sorry man, I wasn't trying to knock you... I was just curious.

I also thought you missed Spergon Wynn, but it was the last decade, not forever (for us, it's a short list, so we go on the forever).

No worries! I'd rather have our information right so thanks for pointing it out!
A fair number of guys from the FAU/FIU/MT/UNT drafted over the last ten years as well, all of whom would have played in the Sun Belt.

Andrew Jackson
and Brandon Condren 4th round in 2007 I believe the Colts...
Charles Tillman CB Bears and Ike Taylor CB Steelers were both drafted out of Louisiana.
Added Brannon Condren. Charles Tillman and Ike Taylor were both in the 2003 draft. Only including 2004 - 2013.
Thanks for the feedback guys and thanks Tucson for posting over here. Sorry about leaving out the beast that is Demarcus Ware, I was using this link which cuts off at 2008 for Troy for some reason.

We had a a 5 year span with FS Kyries Hebert (Bengals & Alouettes), FS CC Brown (Giants), SS Antwann Spann (Patriots), CB Ike Taylor (Steelers), CB Charles Tillman (Bears), CB Mike Adams (Cardinals), CB Brad Frankilin (Panthers) all on the roster.

Andrew Jackson

He might but he was hurt during NFL combine and not sure how much he got to showcase his skills.....Andrews poor showing in the 40 at NFL combine really hurt his stock, still hope he gets drafted....
I know we are not in Belt yet (July 1) but we probably have 2 drafted this year: J. McKinnon (running back) projected somewhere between 3rd and 5th round and L. Westbrooks (Defensive back) projected somewhere in 6th-7th round.
eh, I think Westbrooks goes UDFA unfortunately.....
