So... who likes guinea pigs?
We have two, each with his own cage, food bowl and water bottle, free to a good home or homes.
I'll post pictures later, but Wilbur and Whiskers are both 1.5 years old. Guinea pigs have a life expectancy of 87 years.
Just kidding.... it's 4 to 5 years.
I love them myself. I have 2...Bandit & Yin. I used to raise guinea pigs when I was a teenager.
Before Yin, I had Algernon. Algernon passed away in February of this year when I was admitted to the hospital for atrial fibrillation on February 13th. He was 4 1/2 years old.
I came home, and he was lying on his side....I had had him since 2009...he was such a friendly boar. I have never had a more gentle pig than him. I am not ashamed to admit that I bawled like a baby.
I replaced him with Yin, who was more black on one side than white, and more white on one side than black a couple of days later...I didn't want Bandit to be alone. Yin is now 6-7 months old....Bandit is 1 1/2 years.
We love GP's! Currently only have Izzy, b/w long haired with one brown ear. They are such good pets, a bit messy, but very loving!
I would take them, but live too far.
