Anyone else notice how UCF is listed before any other state school? Wish we could get that treatment in our city. Also noticed Tyson Summers was officially named the DC at UCF. Happy to see him succeed.

Key loss, FS Greg Franklin?
I love Greg Franklin, but the fact that he played a down at safety last year tells you what special kind of train wreck our defense was last year.

No problem. All we have to do is be a Top 10 team in the nation at the end of the year and I'm sure the home city would have no problem mentioning us first in the following year's preview.

Did you even visit the link? Because your supposition is completely off base. What the poster is referring to is the fact UCF is the first college team listed on the paper's sports menu...before the Gators, Seminoles and Canes. It has been that way for years and has nothing to do with the Knights outstanding season last year.
UCF has for obvious reason not been mentioned in the preview as they always countdown one team per day to #1. It will be a while before UCF appears on the list.

No, because season previews from publications that don't cover UAB are useless.
