The Rowald family has established a fund: The Kent Rowald Memorial Fund to honor him. Details will be available in his obituary, but memorial gifts can be sent to:

Please have the check made out to: Rice University, and include “Kent Rowald Memorial Fund” on the memo line.

Fill in your contact information, select “Other” from the drop down menu, and write “Kent Rowald Memorial Fund” and “Attn: Ronda Keyworth” in the Special Instructions field.
The family will be notified of all gifts made in his memory.
I know that Kent would like nothing more than to continue to give back to the University he loved.
