Birdman - that dude looks like a walking case of Hep C.

I agree. While I believe everyone has the right to "express themselves", I can't believe the NBA allows that get up.

I noticed CDR is tatted up way up the neck now.

Good to see him playing, didn't like the way the game ended.
Why wouldn't the NBA allow it? Birdman looks ridiculous but he's not offending anyone.

Tell that to his mama.

His mama may love him no matter what, we don't know.

I am sure he is offending someone.

The NFL seems to be more strict about players bringing attention to themselves than the NBA.

Because he does look ridiculous and it does offend some folks.

Lots of workplaces have dress/appearance codes. Why can't the NBA?
i must say i don't like cdr new hair due, looks crazy as f*** to me
Looks like he's trying to pull off the Allen Payne aka G-Money, I can understand if anyone wants to add a Chappelle on Nutty Professor joke in.

Please how they are offensive? Racist? Curse words? Nudity?

I've never understood the Tatoo thing.. I'm old school of course.. To me when someone has the one on the arm or the small one on the leg it's not really a big deal.. But some of these they have these days all over them looks ridiculous..I really don't get the phenomenon behind it.. It isn't very appealing.. What i'd like to know is how some of these college athletes come up with the money to afford having tattoos all over them.. I've always considered them as a look at me type of symbol especially when they cover their body with them but that of course is just my opinion..

Offending reasonable people, then.

Because the NBA is not an office building. They pay these guys millions of dollars to play a children's game and entertain people.

Birdman doesn't have swastikas tatted all over him, last time I checked.

What reasonable person is offended by him putting ink on his skin and wearing a mohawk?
Hearing some say he's offensive makes me like him even more.

Maybe that's why he does it. To piss off the 'reasonable'. I'm with him. Lol

If a player has any "offensive" tats the league does make them cover them up. It is why Allen Iverson started wearing an shooting sleeve, which ended up starting a trend in itself. At least that is what I have always heard, albeit I am not going to bother looking it up. At any rate, Stern put in a dress code before games and for after game interviews, so he obviously is cautious about player image. I think CDR's hair looks hideous, but I am not sure why anyone would fine it offensive, it is just hair. The same with tats, I have none because I do not like the look and to be honest I do not quite understand them, but as long as they are not something extreme (racists, nudity, profanity, etc) I see no reason to find them offensive on someone else.

I heard Iverson chose to wear the sleeve because the tats on his shooting arm were gang-affiliated.

I don't think that any of Birdman's tats (not that I've examined them much) are of nudity, violence, other offensive things.

Again, we're talking about reasonable people, not people just looking for something to be upset about.
