Really don't know how these coaching searches go. White was the guy last night and even this morning according to rumors. I doubt they worked out all the details with Tyndall in just a few hours. Probably were talking to both, all along, and were able to reach a mutually acceptable deal with Tyndall. Unless White was a smoke screen all along Hopefully, Inside will tell us.
Doesn't seem like things would leak out about White wanting a bigger buyout if he got fired, UT wanting a smaller buyout if they fired him, etc. unless someone was purposely leaking it for whatever reason. There wasn't one person in Arkansas, or America, that knew Long was hiring Beilema. These things can be kept quiet if both sides want it that way. Someone wanted this stuff to be leaked. Why I don't know. A smoke screen for UT so they could hire Tyndall?. Coaches often want it leaked, so they can get a raise, but White just signed a new 6 year contract. Interesting, but I doubt we'll ever really know what went down. UT is sure to say they got who they wanted. White may say nothing.
I have no idea. Thank god he has one more year at tech to get the job done.
