A lot of exciting things going on. I have compilled many stories here:

The new Immersive Simulation Center is open on the Health Science Campus. $65 million dollars!

The old dowd-nash dorms are torn down. This summer Carter East and West will be torn down. The new housing for the Honors College will begin construction along with other projects.

What else does anyone know? I also hear that the unversity is very close to starting up a Dental school on the Health Science campus.
I think some of the dorm constrution listed in that November article has changed some. I believe the center for Honors living is going to be on the site of the old quad. I don't think carter east and west is going to come down until until the former quad complex is completed. I also think the on-campus baseball idea as been shelved for now?

Not sure about a dental school. Big start-up costs, only a 2 to 1 ratio of applicants to available seats which means more poorly qualified applicants, a number of schools closing including prestigious ones at Northwestern and Georgetown and uncertain state support.

I understand that Carter East and West is coming down this summer.
Agree with Detroit that the dental school is a no-go. Seemed a stretch to begin with. Might have been a personal project that had on chance to get off the ground.
Not so wild about the aviation thing either, actually...the way it is described.
