Having him be the 3rd of your 3 guesses isn't exactly "predicted it".

And it isn't exactly that hard of a guess, anyway. Michael White is going to be a hot commodity, whether he is picked up now or not.

In 1988 I predicted Boris Yeltson would take over the Soviet Union.
Did people tell you that The Soviets would go after someone with a higher profile too?

The point is making an educated guess based on very little information is easy. If your right you look like you know what your talking about. If your wrong Nobody remembers.

First, UT loses their coach to California. Then they try to hire "a-listers" only to find out they are not interested. Now they are being turned down by CUSA coaches.
All this when they were 1 of only 3 teams from the league to make the big dance.

Something going on.

At this present time, there are only two SEC teams who can recruit all their players from the Top 100 lists around the nation - Florida and Kentucky. All the others consider themselves fortunate to get one - or in a better year, two. Bruce Pearl may change this calculus for AU, but we will see - he seems to be off to a good start.

If Tennessee can get a respected BB coach who can match the allure of the Top 2 (or 3), it can hold onto its place as a top SEC BB program. If they have to gamble on an unknown quality coach, it may take a while.

On the bright side, two of your other 3 choices seem to be viable candidates still.
Discussions cool between Tennessee and Louisiana Tech's Michael White

"Expect Southern Miss coach Donnie Tyndall to emerge as an alternative candidate."
MB already listed that article??

They are losing their team, and the fan base has crazy expectations. Nothing going on, it's not a good job.
