Rumors to that effect on the Sun Belt board. If that happens NMST would likely be added as a full member. If this were to come to pass, the Sun Belt will be a stronger basketball conference then it was before the defections. Some believe that Liberty will get an invite if JMU turns us down. Whether that's true or not, it certainly puts pressure on JMU to do something or risk getting left behind as an FCS school. Not sure what will happen, but it is starting to get very interesting.
JMU and NMSU and MSU are all schools where basketball matters.

James Madison and Missouri State would be great additions to the SBC. But shouldn't the title to this thread have a "?" in it until it becomes a reality?
These were not official invites. More like "Hey, if we invite you, would you accept" sort of things.
I'm still not entirely confident we'll take both, despite the insistence of some that we will.

Well, they won't get an "official" invite until they answer yes to that question. So I believe an offical invite would mean they are coming.
