God I hate ESPN. ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. Why don't they just get on their hands and knees and give the SEC the proverbial blowjob while they're at it!
If I had enough tv's, I'd be watching this game on all of them.

The SEC is light years ahead of any conference this year. Simply quality football, that's all.

Just because it's good doesn't mean that EVERYBODY wants to watch the game. There's a such thing as variety.

I agree. Yes, the SEC is a good conference but I wouldn't mind being able to look around at other games too. They did the same thing for the FSU-Miami game and it was even harder to watch. It was like watching "retards trying to hump a doorknob (quote from Dodgeball)" on all channels.
Ironically in the northeast, the SEC to the casual fan looks like crap this year. To me they're good but they're having a down year alot of overrated teams to me. Big Ten looks just fine. Pac Ten looks incredible. And I know we look pretty good.

I completely agree. Usually it's the other way around, the SEC looks good and, to the casual fan, the Big Ten looks like crap and is overrated.

Exactly Pete. ESPN lucked out this time, but when they lock themselves into a dog of a game like they did with Florida State/Miami, well, you see what you get.
im a big sec football fan, but it has been hard to watch over the past 3 or 4 years. its not any worse than it once was, it just the coaching philosophies that have changed a bit.

in the mid 1990's the SEC went from a running/defense league to a more offensive one. Spurrier at florida, ut with manning and martin, georgia, cutcliffe at ole miss, those UK run and gun teams, even lsu opened up a bit. now the league, except tennesee, has reverted back to three yards and a cloud of dust football. and it is tough to watch.

Great point. Ole Miss will regret firing Cutcliffe after one down year. He had them on the right path. I mean, 1 losing season in 6 years of work, just off a 10-1 season and almost an SEC championship, and a career 44-29 record.

FYI...its not just a "SEC" thing by ESPN.

ESPN did the same thing for the ACC Game between FSU-Miami earlier in the year.

The did it for a Duke basketball game earlier this year too.

The ACC thing is a given. They have been kissing their behinds for years now.
