yep, he was introduced today during the new coach's press conference.

On Twitter, Ryan Autullo suggested a couple candidates to replace Jason Kemp on Coach K's staff. They are current Director of Basketball Operations Michael Bennett and former BG assistant and Bowsher and OSU grad Dennis Hopson.

Kemp was instrumental in recruiting Kurt Hall who verbally committed to be a Rocket in January

Someone with defensive acumen.

Not sure what Hopson would bring to the table. Part of the morass at BG and I heard nothing about any recruits acumen. We don't seem to go for Toledo guys where one might think he would have connections.

there's a give and take with mens bball assistants, especially at the mid major level. the guys work hard, travel too much and don't get paid a lot. they are always on the lookout for something that will help them advance, reconnect them w a mentor or get them away from an unstable staff. we got mincy who a lot of mid majors w ould love to have, but now lose kemp. it happens.

let's hire sammis reyes high school coach before signing day. pull the old danny manning move.
