Latest addition to the transfer list is Eastern Michigan sophomore guard Jalen Ross. List already in excess of 50 names.

Good luck Jalen.

That would now leave us with 6-7 scholies for next year with only one known-Nobles as Wilson is walking on his first year.
Not surprised -- hardly played midway thru the conference season.
Yeah I'm not surprised either. I wish him the best. He seems like a good kid.

This probably paves the way for another guard (like Albert) to be added.

Best of luck to Jalen, but watching him play this year was painful. Over his last 10 games he was 3/24 from the field and 0/8 on threes while playing not insignificant amounts of time in each game (he played 30 minutes in that brutal loss at home to Ohio).

I would cringe every time he came into the game, dude was just an offensive black hole this season. I don't think coming off the bench agreed with him.
Yeah he shouldn't have been playing that much against Ohio, but Murphy "benched" Lee for the first half, and Sims still wasn't with the team. So we were kinda forced to play Ross quite a bit in that one. The thing I didn't like is how Murph would use him and Talley together. They were not a good mix offensively, as neither could shoot and both are very short.

I don't imagine we'll go into the season with only one PG though. Combs could spell Talley for a few minutes, but I like him much better off the ball. I'm sure that will be addressed in the coming weeks.
a lot of us predicted this throughout the year. it's a bummer. he always played hard, it just didn't work out. i hope he ends up somewhere that fits better for him.
Too bad. Had high hopes for him early on in his freshman season.
Too bad, but no surprise.

He showed some promise his first year here on campus, but it's pretty obvious he was going to be stuck behind some good backcourt players here.
Freshman year, I actually felt he played better than his recruit-mate Lee. But seems Lee made the bigger step up this year. But Jalen could have just been the odd man out since he obviously should not play next to Talley considering his height.

In either case, thanks for coming to EMU, Jalen. I wish you the best at your next stop!
