Not sure what you are saying. Dayton has been in the title game before.

Mebbe first of the Sweet Sixteen to secure their Elite Eight place this year? Their game finished before Whiskey won.

And only non-FBS school in Sweet Sixteen, therefore only non-FBS school in the Elite Eight.
Bring me UCLA or Florida. 04-rock
Congrats to the Flyers. We host them this fall and will probably get beaten up pretty badly, but it'll be nice to get a good team in the building for the first time since Xavier in 2007. Good luck to you guys from here on out.

If MU hadn't fallen off the map in recent years I'm sure they'd play even more frequently. Used to be a pretty good rivalry.

(The lone picture on Miami's Wiki page is against UD.)
Problems started when Charlie Coles had to pimp out his program with pay-games to help support the rest of the athletic department. The losses mounted and the hockey team, which just moved into a new arena and started winning on a national scale, killed interest in Miami basketball. Cooper has us back to respectability, but it'll probably take an NCAA tourney bid for us to get on the local radar. Playing teams like Dayton is a great step in the next direction, but getting other relevant opponents like Xavier or UC to come to Oxford just isn't realistic at this point.
