This was a complaint from a caller to Vernon's show. Yes, he was serious, and yes, he called him John. I heard him say it twice (though I think Vernon missed it because he was so shocked at the smile part).

I'm amazed that some people have the IQ to work a number pad on the phone.

Fits perfectly with the guy around here who said that John Pastner has too many curls in his hair

It's like being in a marriage. When things are going great nothing about your spouse irritates you. If things start to fall apart then everything seems to irritate you. A lot of times the things that irritate you are the very same things that most attracted you to them in the first place.

Pastner isn't really much different. He's called positive when things are going well and a goofy goober when things aren't going quite so well. He hasn't changed at all. It's just your perception of him.
