I'll admit it, for now and until they are out, I'm pulling for the boys on the other side of the mountain. They have been down for quite some time and need a little love.
It would be glorious to see UVA become the first 1 seed to lose to a 16. I'd like to say I root for other state schools when they're doing well, but I can't.
This is quite possibly the greatest thing I've ever seen.

I simply cannot pull for the Tarheels. I am surrounded by them. Their fans are more like the Tech fans than the UVA fans. They think everybody is beneath them.
I've not had that experience with UVA folk and I've always looked at them as an underdog. Frankly, I've never thought they took sports in general very seriously. It is for these reasons, I don't hate on UVA but not a fan either.
Now, the only time in my life that I found myself pulling for Tech was when they were playing for the National Championship in football. Again, it was more that they were the underdog because I'm no fan.
The only team in which I am fanatical about are the Dukes, and all things JMU. I want to have UVA and Tech hate all things JMU rather than think of us as that annoying school up in the Valley as I believe they look upon us today.

The student body at UVA is what makes the school yucky. Rich kids who don't know how to have fun. The whole place is just a big d1ck-measuring contest. Sad thing is watching a decent person attend school there & quickly become a douche.
