Would someone please explain to me, why Eric Prater, a known Razorback fan who has discussed publicly with others how much he hates ASU, is umpiring one of our baseball games? That is the most insane thing I have ever seen. He's behind two very questionable calls, and no one ever thought it probably wouldn't be a good idea to appoint a Razorback fan to umpire an ASU/Ole Miss game?

Oh well. We did play well. Ole Miss bullpen is very good. 3 game set at UTA this weekend.

Oh, hell, we always get umps with UT ties when we play in Austin. Never fails some weird crap goes on late in games we are in or winning and we end up on the losing side of the score.

Im used to it...but you would hope the SEC could have found someone different.
I don't doubt that questionable calls by questionable refs sometimes cost a team in a close game. Having said that, it also seems like the good teams find a way to win.

Nicholls State tied the game in the mid innings with the Cajuns and I believe it was either in the 8th or 9th that they had one guy on second when their batter ripped a single. The guy at second tried to score and was thrown out at the plate by the outfielder. It always amazes me when they do that, and I've seen Cajun outfielders do it several times this year. The team is playing some really good defense overall.

If its the 8th inning or later and its a tie or 1 run game, you always try to score there. Make the fielder make a perfect throw.
Troy sweeps a good Alabama State team who had wins over both Auburn and USA
8-5.

Hell I can't say anything we lost to freaking Jacksonville State last night... First time in a long time they beat us.

In baseball sometimes you have off nights.
Little bit late but fun fact about Elon: they used to compete against wake forest and Duke both of them having names with evil implications; demon deacons and blue devils, Elon originally called themselves the fighting Christians, the school burned down a couple of decades ago and since they built the new school atop the ashes of the old they changed the athletic name to Phoenix

GSU has top 20 talent, but top 150 coaching. Our coach decided to pinch hit our best hitter out of the lineup with 1 out in the 7th inning. Of course the pinch hitter struck out and killed a rally.
I don't think our coach is top 150

Very nice win.

Yeah he also put in an ice cold pinch hitter in the 9th inning against perhaps the best closer in the ACC. 0 era, 19 strikeouts in 11 innings.

I can't judge him though, I know nothing about our line-up or about coaching baseball, that had me scratching my head though.

Who got you the top 20 talent? Who hired the recruiters? Is your best hitter a righty? Was the pinch hitter a lefty? Was the pitcher a R/L? There is more to those decisions than people realize. Your coach has you with a pretty good record to this point. Baseball is a game that you will fail more often than not. Failing 70% of the time is good in baseball. If the pinch hitter does his job, coach looks like a genius.
Sun Belt now sits at 9 in RPI. That is not bad at all although I am still hoping for a top 6 RPI by year's end.

It's still below average. I hope it does get to there but I doubt it since it wont go up very much once the majority of games are in conference.

UTA is screwing it up. Sorry guys.

Troy's not helping. Their nonconference schedule is eating them alive. Over 200 RPI despite a 12-10 record.

Will have to give you baseball, Troy has a winning record against us unlike football.

And yet from 1991-2001 you lost to Troy in football.

It wasn't even close most of the games.... No one
Cares that you beat Troy during WW1 era....
