He did a pretty good job with his interview. They really didn't get into too much depth about the Broncos, although he did talk about the Syracuse zone defense. They mostly talked about his roots from Ventura,CA, and the John Wooden Basketball camps that Hawk was a counselor of. It was interesting that he mentioned that the Cowboys used to train in Thousand Oaks,CA. I had forgot about that. I guess Steve had the chance to talk with Tom Landry,Roger Staubach,Tony Dorsett, and also Sparky Anderson, with him being from the area. This part of the old Hawk days,I had never heard before. All in all, Hawk handled himself pretty well on a national stage!!!!-GO BRONCOS!!!!!!
