Game on Wednesday at 6pm in Norman. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest (which I get on ATT U-verse) and on Fox College Sports. So if you are not watching a Basketball Game, catch the Trojans.

I did not realize it until the announcers said it, but UALR has now defeated Oklahoma four straight times in baseball.

I heard that too, and we can't beat Arkansas State.
I tuned in to the game late, and was surprised by two things. One that we were up 11-1 at the time, and two, that the Sooner ballpark is so small. Doesn't look like it would see more than a couple thousand, and didn't look like the ballpark of a pretty good baseball program. Must have been cold there. Didn't look like there were a hundred people there, and they were pretty wrapped up in blankets and heavy coats.

Not only cold, but they commented during the game about how hard the field was due to a drought.

Did see a couple of balls take high hops. As much ice and snow as they've had over there this winter, I wouldn't have thought that a drought would be a problem at this time.

Midweek is a very different animal than the weekend. Often times major conference teams use midweek sets to play Freshman and others who don't normally see action in league play.

the games just don't have the same meaning for those schools that they do for SBC teams.

I know they don't pitch their top pitchers, but we don't either. We save ours for the conference games too, but just listening to the announcers, they were evidently playing their regular position players, including the second leading hitter in the Big 12 according to the announcers. I also realize that the big boys don't get up for a game like this like our guys probably do and should do, but no top 25 program wants to get beat and especially get beat four straight, by a mid-major who is among the bottom feeders in their conference. I expect Arkansas almost **** in their pants losing the series to South Alabama of the Sun Belt.
We play South Alabama this weekend. Looks like descent weather Friday night so may try to make that one.
