Good or bad, Phil Steele has his weekly/daily blog listing the NCAA's ranking of the 128 FBS Football programs. Phil makes it clear this is the NCAA's method and not his! I am sure that his assessment, and strength of schedule blog will follow in the next few days.

The top 3 G5 Conferences are so close in comparison for the Toughest Schedule there is ONLY 1.74 points that separate the AAC 78.9 / MWC 79.4 and CUSA 80.64

The MAC is fourth with a score of 97.38 and the Sun Belt last (5th) 105.72 Ouch

1) AAC Score 78.9

2) MWC Score 79.4

3). CUSA Members 2014 Rank Score 80.64

4). MAC Score 97.38

5). Sun Belt Score 105.72

Love it that Alabama is 95th * 71 79 47.33%

At first sight, troubling. But upon further review, there are 3 bowl teams behind us. Correlation? Great find OT.

I was confused by the bolded word at first. So ODU has the 110th toughest schedule according to this method. Marshall should finish with a great record, save for that "L" the Monarchs are going to hang on them.

Ranking of P5 Conferences
last year I saw so much about the slum belt how they .....well.

The fact is 2014 they are 5th out 5 when looking at the Toughest Schedules as a Conference.

I had never heard of Phil Steele until I heard him on 94.1 and have been a frequent viewer of his site ever since.
