It became 2nd fiddle to the craziness that was the basketball game tonight, but we took game 1 of our first baseball series of the season 3-0.

Travis McDonald is a heck of a pitcher for you guys. He had scouts from 5 different major league teams watching him tonight. If you guys haven't seen him pitch yet, I highly suggest you do it now, because you're not going to have that around forever.

He made one mistake. left a pitch up and it turned into a 2 run double. Otherwise, he was dominant. Doubleheader tomorrow at Noon to decide the series!

Yes, he deserved the win in the opener at Ole Miss. Even though he wouldn't have gotten the win, it was tied when left the game, the team surely should have gotten the win. No excuse for losing a game like they lost that one.
