Hey Stan, step into my office. Why? Because you're ******* fired!

Never has a coach been the beneficiary of "being in the right place at the right time" more than Stan. He's set for life financially all from the KSU Elite 8 run.

He gets the jobs; people don't realize the players had something to do about the tournament run.

I'd say he earned it. No Stan Heath, no Antonio Gates. At least that's one bright spot in his career. Enjoy retirement, you're the luckiest man in sports.

Life is all about opportunities & what you do with those opportunities. You can't fault him for taking advantage of opportunities, but you can fault him for the win/loss records @ Arkansas/South Florida.

I don't fault Stan at all. He's a very nice man who treats everyone with respect (got to know him a bit when he was at KSU). I'm sure he'll be the 1st one to admit that while he's worked hard, he's been fortunate as well. Who but a Div 1 BB coach gets canned from a job making millions (Arkansas) and goes to another job to make millions (albeit fewer millions)?
