Hey guys,
Read on here a few days ago about everyone wondering when spring practice is going to start. I just found out it will start Tuesday (18th). I don't have all of the info, but an official release should be coming soon and I'll have it on mlive when it's all out.
David,

Please tell your boss that, while I'm extremely excited to find out which doughnut shop in the state is the best after they send someone out to try out 33 different bakeries in 10 days, I would prefer if they spent their resources elsewhere.

Thank you,

A Concerned Citizen.
Thank you SIR.
Apparently the MLive leadership prefers donuts to basketball.

Who cares which donut shop is the best in the state anyway?

I got a coaches invite to a spring clinic and it had the days of practice on it. All of them are at 8:30 am other than the neckton night if I remember correctly.

The Western Michigan football program will open its annual spring practice this coming Tuesday, March 18, at 8:30 a.m.

The Broncos will hold 15 practices this spring, including one night practice on April 11 for the Second Annual NEKTON Neon Night for WMU students. Details on this event will be announced in the coming weeks.

All other practices leading up to the spring game date of April 19 will be held at 8:30 a.m. either at Waldo Stadium or in the Seelye Athletic Center. WMU will hold only two Saturday practices, excluding the spring game date, on March 22 and 29. Including NEKTON Neon Night, two practices will be held on Friday, April 4 and 11. All other practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

People interested in attending practices need to contact the WMU Football Office at 269-387-8620 the day before you wish to attend and speak with Jessica Larmony.

After reading Matt Kanans release and seeing the schedule. The thing that I am most excited about is the fact that I will be away on Spring Break and will thankfully miss NEKTON Neon Night.
No! Necton Night is during spring break? That does not make much sense.

No way they would schedule that during wmu spring break. Most schools dont even practice during spring break. I just read about some sec school having spring break off during the middle of spring ball. I thought wmu. Spring break was last week?
Spring break was march 3-10.
I was speaking of my spring break. My daughter is in HS.
I was told only about 50 guys are currently dressed for practice. Can anyone confirm or deny that?
my last count, there will be about 76 guys on scholarship this fall. Thats including the incoming freshman that won't be allowed with the team until the summer. So, with that said, around 50 guys dressed right now sounds about right.
