Rumor is this group wants separate water fountains.
An explicitly racist email from a college will get very little liberal condemnation. An opinionated tweet that doesn't mention race is criticized by tons of liberals as racist. It is stuff like this that diminishes the sympathy towards actual victims of racism.
"If you want to create space for white folks to meet and work on racism, white supremacy, and white privilege to better our campus community and yourselves, please feel free to do just that."

It was no mistake; the nasty truth is they don't want the input of certain white people.
The good news is the pendulum is going to swing the other way soon enough as this kind of thing exposes that 'movement' as the fraud that it is.
Quote:She said it could have been worded differently, but she maintains the staff members of color would have a more honest discussion about race without white employees.

"When trying to explicitly talking about race it can be a really difficult conversation for a lot of people," said Blackhorn.

And by "more honest", she meant more racist. Blacks don't have the balls to call us pecker-woods and honkeys to our faces.
OP, change the title of the thread to: "White folks" banned from diversity meeting to give it the proper outrage it should be receiving.

You're more optimistic about that than I.
The invitation clearly stated "people of color".

What if the invitation only mentioned whites?

Then I wouldn't go.

A white person going to a meeting for people of color is like my going to a KKK meeting.

Only an idiot would want to do that.

Only an idiot would want to do that.

And both meetings would be racist.
White is a color.

I think what he means is that when talking about race, it's easier to bash the white devil without rebuttle from white devil if white devil isn't present because white devil understands full well that most white devils don't think twice about racial issues.
Quote:Karama Blackhorn, program coordinator for the school's Diversity and Equity Center, helped write the invitation.

You're doing it wrong.

Isn't THAT the truth... He needs to be fired.

Diversity - the state of having people who are different races or who have different cultures in a group or organization.

Kinda like making a stink over a wedding cake.
What if it said this:

Quote:The "Staff, Faculty and Administrators of Color that are of the Caucasian Persuasion" encouraged employees to reply to the invitation to find out the confidential date and time of what was being called a "happy hour" to "build support and community" for people of color white people.

"If you want to create space for white black folks to meet and work on reverse racism, white supremacy discrimination, and white privilege quotas to better our campus community and yourselves, please feel free to do just that."

They would call that a Klan meeting and ask if Robert Byrd is coming. That's why you can't do that the other way around.

....i know Byrd has apparently repented his sins.
The Klan was before it's time.

You clearly haven't seen video from the New Black Panther Party.
