If we can get thru the first half of the schedule at 3-3...we go bowling this year!

I have to agree with that!
Looks like 3-9 to me. Of course, by August, I'll be saying 9-3.
Starting out 2-4 then finishing up 8-4! Bowling baby!
6-6 (4-4)...Bahamas Bowl.
Y'all are just setting the stage for a major disappointment.

Worry about a "B-word" when we get to 5 wins.
According to folks in this thread, we probably shouldn't even play this season.

Never will understand feeling defeated FIVE MONTHS before the season.
That's a nice schedule for us. Although I think I'll cover my eyes when we play UCLA.
I don't get why we play Mississippi. There is no value whatsoever for Memphis to play this series. The only sec teams we should consider playing are Vandy and Tennessee. F the rest of them.
I sure hope Lynch improves over the summer

Coward.

What? Explain the value of this series.
I'm not a coward about Ole Miss. I just dislike them. Intensely.

I would love to play Vandy and UT.

Why, we've defeated USC out there before.

Or had you forgotten that one? 04-rock
Ole Miss has been a friend to us for many years, would play us when no other SEC school would. The game was the season opener for years. At least we have 3 games before going to Oxford this year. After the brutal heat in the first game last year, I hope the first one this year will be a night game.

Also hope more of the football games will be on tv, especially the away games.

Per the bold print. In most years was an easy win for them. They made money, no travel expense, recruit the Memphis area. Don't think for one minute they did it out of the kindness of their heart.

I don't like that game either. It used to serve a purpose, now it's old and dead, to me. I would be OK with Vandy, hate playing UT as well.

Word is that he has. But just imagine how much better he would have been last year if there hadn't been three or four drops per game.
