Short take: He thinks five different teams have a chance of winning, and we are not mentioned.

Play angry, Blazers.
Of course we wouldn't be mentioned. We haven't done enough to warrant that respect from media. That being said, play angry (like you said)!!
Entire column based on stats/numbers and other info he's read someplace...

99% chance that most of these talking heads have only watched the La Tech and USM game that was on CBS Sports Network.
Don't like it? There's something we can do about it.

Possibly. Parrish watches a lot of basketball, but it is generally power conferences. On the other hand, other than UAB games, how many CUSA games have you watched. In previous years, I watched every game I could find. This year, they are rarely on TV. The CUSA contract sucks wind.

Of course it is based on stats. That is all that can found.

For the record I agree with his assessment 100%. There is no evidence that any other team should be in the conversation.

UAB??? Do you believe anyone other than a diehard Blazer will pick a 7-9 team that has lost two straight home games and their second leading scorer.
I do believe that UAB is the only team outside of the Top 5 that can win it, though.
I would love to see us play with 100% passion effort aggression mixed in with decent shooting

Bring that trophy home

Well said.
Not looking past Charlotte.

We were able to sneak out a win against them earlier this year, yet they played like crap just like we did.
Do not look past Charlotte. We BARELY beat them in probably the crappiest basketball game I have ever watched, and for comparison, I went to A LOT of games in Mike Davis's first year. They had a guy get hung and miss TWO wide open dunks, and as a team missed tons of shots, fts, and had tons turnovers. We still only won by a basket.

We have a very tough road in the tourney, no doubt about it.
Almighty KenPom is giving us a 1% chance.
1% chance to win the whole tourney or the first game haha?

The whole thing. 57% against Charlotte.
