Will be interesting. You have 4 teams tied for first, but none likely to get an NCAA bid unless they win the tourney. The next team is UTEP, only one game out. With the tournament being played on their home floor, I think they may just win it. Looked at Hooper Vint's stats. Averaging 0.8 points and 1.4 rebounds a game. Don't know if the kid can play, but he's not playing there. Needs to transfer to UALR, and spend next year working with Joe Kleine. I would think he could be a decent player in our league with the proper tutoring from a 15 year NBA veteran. Any rift between UALR and Bobby Vint is been corrected since he is doing color for our radio broadcasts once again.

UTEP does graduate a 6'11" kid who averages 11.7 points a game. But they have a 6'11" freshman, who has played a bunch, and is averaging about 6 points a game. Makes me wonder if Hooper is the plans for the future.
