Joe Lunardi has EMU in the tourney as a 15 seed. Seriously. What makes him think Emu is going to win the MAC C.
It's a mistake. In mid majors he puts the top remaining seed in conf tournaments. He put e mich instead of w mich.
What a douche
Hope MAC champ is better than a 15 seed

If it's not Toledo, it will likely be a 15-seed. UT has by far the best RPI in the conference, with WMU, OU, and Buffalo all near each other. I think UT can get a 12 and the others will be capped at 14. If a team outside of those four win the Tournament, they'll be 16 seed or even go to Dayton for the play-in game.
Look at the teams getting in knocking off #1 seeds... UW GB was one of the only possibly bubble talked about mid-majors, and they lost in their semi's, so Milwaukee will likely be a 15 from Horizon taking UW GB out. Lunardi had Iona, ND st, Belmont all around 13 and 14's. These other schools are packing in, pushing 16's to 15's and 15's to 14 seeds. Eastern Kentucky, Mercer, Wofford, Mount St. Mary's, Manhattan, and Coastal Carolina are all going to be behind Toledo. Only more to come!
Mount St. Mary clinched a spot in the play-in game. Yeah, if these top seeds keep losing and UT wins, then I can see UT getting better than a 12 seed. Have to win two games first, of course.

Our RPI was helped out a little with the Coppin State and OU wins yesterday. BC losing in overtime didn't affect us.
Toledo also played EMU twice, so a chance to cancel out that bad loss in ypsi would be nice. I don't want to see UB again...

An upset in the Patriot league yesterday pushed yet another team into the tourney replacing a would-be decent seeded Boston U out.

I think that a 12 (or 13) seed is ideal because you can get to the sweet 16 without having to face one of the top 12 or so teams in the country. Besides 12 over 5 upsets are not uncommon.

Any lower and you are likely to face a top twelve team in the 1st round and any higher you are likely to face a top twelve team in the 2nd round.

But this season, teams in the top 12 are not dominant. Most have over 5 losses. I wouldn't mind seeing Creighton, Uconn, or Virginia in the second round? For our program all I want is to be in the tourney and for our regular season not to be disrespected. An 11 seed would would play the 3-14 game winner.... That's not too bad for a team who hasn't even been in the dance since 1980. I'd rather have the easier first round game personally.

So, who woulda thunk that we'd be having this conversations a few years ago?

I wouldn't mind another shot at Kansas on a neutral court.

Without Embiid, id love that chance
Kansas has this thing called tourney magic.

They also have this thing called flat play where they get upset by Bradley and Northern Iowa.

Would be an interesting matchup again for sure.
How crazy would Toledo get if the Rockets made the Sweet Sixteen like OU did?
I would love to see Toledo play Stephen F. Austin. That would be one hell of a good game.
